Indian Defence Job

 

Indian Ministry of Defence is in the form of the following Major organizations.


  • Indian Army,

  • Indian Navy

  • Indian Air force,

  • And Indian Coast Guards.


The Selection process for this organizations is being done by conducting various levels of Service  service selection Board Interviews and recruitment rallies. Each of the organizations have various procedures to join. 

The Selected soldiers from Recruitment rally commonly known as Junior Commissioned Officers.For this selections candidates have successfully passed 10th Std or 12 th std. They have to attend recruitment rally conducted by army at various zones. And the candidate should pass in the physical test also. The candidate should medically fit as per the service requirements.

The selection process is also counducted by various levels of service selection board interviews. Selected candidates by this process sent to training and commissioned into respective organization as an officer rank ie, rank from Lieutenant to Field marshal. They are trained to infantry commanders. 

 

 

The selection process by SSB (Service Selection Board) being conducted for various Entry Schemes. Commissioning into the defence organization is given two choices 

 

  • Permanent Commission

  • Short Service Commission


Officers from Permanent Commission  selected by following Entry scheme.

 

  • 10+2 TES(Technical Entry Scheme)

  • 10+2 NDA(National Defence Academy)

  • University Entry Scheme

  • Technical Graduate Course (TGC)

  • Combined Defence Service Examinations (UPSC)

 


Short Service Commission 

 Officer from short service commission can work in defence force fo 10 years. And he can select Permanent commission After his service or opt out  or otherwise he can extend his service period to extra 4 years ie 14 years of service.

 

The entries for short service commission are


  • NCC Special Entry Scheme
  • Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech)
